Gallery questions.
Can I use my own domain for galleries?
Yes. Point a subdomain such as gallery.yourstudio.co.uk at Caloreel and every gallery, booking page and client portal is served from it, with a free SSL certificate. Your clients never see our name.
How many photos can a gallery hold?
There's no per-gallery limit. A 1,000-photo wedding exported at full resolution is typically 10 to 25 GB, so the Studio plan's 1 TB holds dozens of weddings, and older galleries move to cold storage on their own.
What happens to old galleries?
Galleries nobody has opened for 90 days move to cheaper cold storage automatically. They still open instantly for your clients, who see no difference, and any visit warms them up again. You can pin a gallery to keep it hot, for example before a print sale.
Can guests see the gallery without an account?
Yes. Share a link, add a password or restrict it to a list of email addresses. Guests can browse, save favourites and buy prints without creating an account.
Do you add watermarks to my originals?
Never. Watermarks are applied when an image is displayed, so your originals stay untouched and you can change or remove a watermark at any time.
Can I deliver video in the same gallery?
Yes. Films stream alongside the photos, and a cover can be a video. The Studio plan includes 1 hour of video and Unlimited includes 10 hours.
